Hearing: Nurses Fight for Safe Staffing!

Hearing: Nurses Fight for Safe Staffing
November 25th at 6 pm
Chicago Teachers Union Hall
1901 W. Carroll Ave. Chicago IL

CWTA supports the nurses in their fight for a fair contract. Nurses are fighting for better nurse /patient ratios promoting patient safety, which affects us all. Any questions please reach out!

On November 13 the registered nurses of UI launched an open-ended ULP strike against their employer. The nurses, members of the Illinois Nurses Association (INA), are hoping to bring their 6 month long contract negotiation to a close and achieve crucial safety, staffing improvements, and pay increases.

Join us for a hearing on the nurses fight for safe staffing. Hear directly from nurses and find out how you can support them as a patient, community member, ally, and/or union member.
