November 2024 Gun Violence Prevention Actions

Chicago Women Take Action is a member of the One Aim Illinois Coalition which works to decrease gun violence in Illinois.  There are a number of campaigns that we can reach our state legislators about during the Veto Session.  Details on each campaign are at the links below, and the two blue buttons connect you to forms set up by One Aim for quick submission of messages to your legislators. 

We’re advocating for the passage of the Safe at Home campaign, Karina’s Bill, the Homicide Victims’ Families’ Rights Act, the Homicide Data Transparency Bill, and other evidence-based policies that will protect and support individuals and communities impacted by  gun violence.
